They Poured Fire on us from the Sky |
Summary (Copied and Pasted) Benjamin, Alepho, and Benson were raised among the Dinka tribe of Sudan. Their world was an insulated, close-knit community of grass-roofed cottages, cattle herders, and tribal councils. The lions and pythons that prowled beyond the village fences were the greatest threat they knew. |
All that changed the night the government-armed Murahiliin began attacking their villages. Amid the chaos, screams, conflagration, and gunfire, five-year-old Benson and seven-year-old Benjamin fled into the dark night. Two years later, Alepho, age seven, was forced to do the same. Across the Southern Sudan, over the next five years, thousands of other boys did likewise, joining this stream of child refugees that became known as the Lost Boys.
Prediction: Personally at this point I don't really know. The boys have been pushed around the world and kicked out of everywhere. Most of them are sick, and the book mentions that they are dying left and right. I'm not sure if they will live. There is no real main character seeing as it is about like 5 different people's perspective. The book is so dark and brooding it's crazy. I'm also not 100 percent certain when the "Conflict" will be resolved, I just know the boys are heading down south to get away from the army.
I really enjoy this book though. I kinda had to make up my prediction only because I read the entire thing already. Your welcome.

This book seems really interesting! I haven't heard of it before, and it seems like it'll be a really hard hitting book that will really challenge you to really think.

Do you think that the Lost Boys will find some kind of refuge, if so, where? This book sounds really interesting!

Your book seems really interesting but pretty dark too. What will happen to the Lost Boys?

I like how detailed your summaries were and how you were honest about how you put yourself in the book
