was really crazy, and it made me kinda think for a second, ( I know shocking ). There were a lot of clues about some sort of secret going around, and as this progressed Offred began having more flash backs. The last thing I read about was one of the other Handmaid's mentioning a secret society, that would be able to help Offred. Then I stopped reading, because, cliff-hangers are wonderful.
The next question you are having me answer is kinda easy, because well, they made a TV show on it, so that kinda makes my life easy, however I have not watched this show, because it costs money. However the next part I can do, which is compare a person in the book to something in today's society. The crazy thing is that this book references the "regular world" quite often, so it is a rather fun book to read. There are many things that are just non existent in this world that are in ours, like normal clothing. They don't wear normal clothing, they wear robes. That is just one small thing out of the giant myriad of abnormalities in this book. many similarities between this world that we live in now and this books idea of the world. It is based in the 90s like I mentioned, but it seems like now America is one of the lowest 3rd world countries. They mention other countries like Japan and Australia, so it is on this earth, bit it seems so different.
