The Poured Fire on us From the Sky |
Summary:The book has just gotten darker and darker, with no viably way to get out of it. The boys are dying left and right, thousands at a time. At this point they have traveled by foot across two countries seeking safety. Toward the end of this part of the book they found a refugee camp, however they were treated badly. Many became sick and died. Disease came from the mosquitoes and the |
millions of mites and fleas that devoured their emancipated bodies.
Character Relationships:
This part is rather easy. There are three main people being portrayed in this book.
Benson, Alepho, and Benjamin. They are three brothers who were split up during the raids. The chapters run through different points of view. However all of their goals are very much the same. Stay safe, Survive, and find their family and each other. They all love each other dearly, and feel when they find each other everything will be okay. The dinkan way ( Dinka being their tribe) is family before all else, so they fight fiercely for each other. I am exited to see how the rest of this book manifests itself.

It sounds like the brothers and tribe all really care about one another. I feel like that is really important especially in the setting of your book and the circumstances they're all in.

I think that this book is getting very dark. How do you think you would handle a situation like this?

All the brothers seem like they are getting a lot closer to one another.
